I’m working to teach English and Western Culture to Chinese students who want to go abroad.

One woman asked me what it was like for Chinese immigrants in Australia.

She teaches Chinese and wanted to know what the job prospects were for her, and if Australia would be a good place to raise her child (with the school system etc.).

I’ve researched online but was wondering if there’s anyone who could offer an insiders perspective to what it’s like. The pros and cons so I can help her become better informed.

Thanks.

P.S. I’ve also had some students ask about job prospects in the U.K. for Chinese immigrants interested in Economics and Business. So any opinions about that would be useful as well.

I’m the business person responsible for delivering a custom software development project. We’ve hired a 3rd party development shop. The client has a fixed budget and timeline. We have incomplete specs and the timeline is short. We’ve prioritized features and know what absolutely must be delivered for launch. What’s the best way to manage the specification and delivery of nice-to-have features in this scenario?
