I have a wordpress blog and want to add pictures for each year of an event I run. What is the easiest wordpress plugin for doing this? Lightbox is too confusing and time consuming! I’m willing to pay for something if it allows long caption lengths.

I noticed that Wordpress charges a fee for you to make changes to your blog and blogspot doesn’t..But does wordpress have some other advantage over google’s blogspot that I’m missing?

GoDaddy offers a specific Wordpress hosting plan for a website and a basic hosting plan however, the basic plan offers an install of Wordpress as an option. They both cost the same amount. I don’t want to put myself in the situation where I can’t switch back from Wordpress if I don’t want to run a blog, but want to keep the hosting. I know there is a protocol called xml-rpc, but that is of no help to me, as I don’t know what on earth it is. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a website that has been up and running for some time now, and for numerous reasons I want to replace it with a Wordpress site.

So, how do I start building the Wordpress site – in a seperate folder from the “public_html” folder? Then when you are ready to move it into the public_html folder, do you have to correct whatever file-paths and link errors?
