If you want to come for a short business visit, and if you’re from Europe or an ETA eligible country, then you can get a business visa online.

An ETA for a tourist is free but there is a service charge of AUD$20
A short validity Business ETA is free but there is a service charge of AUD$20
A long validity Business ETA is AUD$75 (all ETAs only allow visits for up to 3 months but long validity Business ETAs allow multiple entry for the life of the passport)
A Tourist visa (subclass 676) for up to 12 months is AUD$100 (for people ineligible for an ETA or eVisitor)
A 3 month Business (Short Stay) Visa (Subclass 456) is AUD$100 (for people ineligible for ETA or eVisitor)
A 3 month eVisitor is free for both tourists and business people
